Terms and Conditions
Ideas can be sent online either exclusively in writing (maximum 750 characters) or digital (YouTube link/Presentation/video). If your idea is digital it will help if you add a very short written description, where you can repeat the entry title.
Ideas can be sent by individuals or groups. Groups are limited to a maximum of four.
There is no limit to the number of ideas submitted per person/group.
On receipt of entries Big Tent will post them on the Big Tent website where your friends and networks will be able to ‘like’ the ideas they want to see discussed up until September 19th – do encourage your friends and networks to do this!
Make sure you spread the word about your idea using the #MyBigIdea
The closing date for ideas is Midnight on September 4th 2020. Big Tent will then identify ideas that adhere to the Big Tent Values and look at whether friends and supporters would like to discuss them too. We guarantee to reply to everyone who submits an idea.
Big Tent Digital events conform to one of the formats below; we will discuss the format with you in due course:
“IN Debate”: A chance to change people’s minds and challenge assumptions
“IN Depth” What do we really need to know? Who should we listen to to learn it?
“IN Conversation”: A chance to hear the life and lessons from a person of the day, 1 on 1
“IN Place” Uncovering innovation and local successes that have been ignored nationally
The Big Tent Ideas Festival and the Big Tent Foundation shall not be responsible for technical errors in telecommunication network or internet access or otherwise, preventing entry to this website.
Ideas will not be returned and once posted will not be removed from the website until after 19th September 2020
Ideas may be moderated prior to posting on Big Tent Ideas Festival website to ensure they comply with Big Tent Values.
