Following three successful festivals since its inception in 2017, The Big Tent is now firmly established and credited with being a politically non-partisan festival unfettered by the constraints of party politics; a champion of 50:50 gender representation with an increasingly diverse and age varied attendee demographic year on year. If you would like to be a part of this movement, we have a small number of opportunities to sponsor the festival.

If you would like to find out more about these opportunities, please contact our Commercial Director, Georgie Pike;

KPMG produced a short video to celebrate their participation; watch it here.

Margaret Bolton, Policy Director at Local Trust:

“We were very pleased to have sponsored the Communities’ Tent at the Big Tent Ideas Festival in 2019. The event had a great atmosphere that encouraged a different, better, conversation with politicians and opinion formers.”

This BBC News feature praises the 2019 Festival’s ability to promote the respectful sharing of political views.

The 2020 tents are designed to offer festival attendees the opportunity to follow themes, such as ‘health’, ‘environment’ or ‘economy’ across all the tents; sponsors will be able to share their messages across some or all tents, depending on the level of sponsorship.

Each tent holds approximately 300 people. The tents will have general themes as follows:

  • Community solutions
  • UK solutions
  • Global solutions
  • Truth and evidence
  • Taboo
  • Arts and Recreation
  • Citizens’ Assembly
  • Marketplace: tech and others

Opportunities range from a stand in the Tech Marketplace tent, which will be open during the Eve of festival VIP reception, to taking a Platinum sponsorship package across the discussion tents. There are flexible packages  to suit every business and every budget.  Contact Georgie Pike, Commercial Director; for information on all opportunities and benefits.
